Mater Admirabilis
"Mother Most Admirable." The original Mater, a fresco painted by Pauline Perdrau, RSCJ at the Trinita dei Monti in Rome, represents Our Lady as a young girl. Sacred Heart students around the world have has a special devotion to Mater since the mid-nineteenth century. The Feast of Mater Admirabilis is celebrated on October 20.
